Because Veeto is a 'Vault,' we only collect data that is essential to providing the service. This includes:

  • Vault Content: Any items, titles, prices, ratings, and notes you manually enter.
  • Media: Images you upload to represent items in your vault.
  • Technical Data: Your UID, login timestamps, and 'Last Viewed' markers.
  • Collaborative Data: Emails of individuals you explicitly invite to your collections.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data strictly to provide the Vault service, enable collaboration, and ensure security. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Infrastructure: Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase.
  • Handshake Security: Access is governed by a strict verified 'Email Handshake.'
  • Data Retention: We keep your data for as long as your account is active.

5. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

  • Right to Access: Download your vault anytime via 'Export Vault.'
  • Right to Erasure: Permanently delete your account using the 'Shredder' feature.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use Local Storage for session state only. No tracking cookies for advertising are used.
